Blueberry Steel cut oats
Steel-cut oats are super healthy but take a long time to cook. When cooking the oats, I like to make sure that they are nice and soft.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup of Blueberries
- 0.25 cup of walnuts
- 0.25 cup steel-cut oats
- 0.5 a bananas
- pinch of salt
- 1-1.5 cups of water
To start it off, the steel cut will take 20-30 minutes to cook. I wanted the blueberries to be the source of flavor more than anything else. In a pot, 1 cup of water with a pinch of salt was brought to a boil then I added the steel-cut oats with blueberries and crushed walnuts. The heat is then lowered to
