Vegan Beyond Beef Burger

A simple vegan burger recipe that is really good. It is simple. Start with 1 pound of beyond beef, and add 1 cup of freshly chopped basil and cilantro. Violife makes an excellent feta cheese that I love to use (but if you are not a vegan, I would highly recommend using ZerGut feta). Add 1 tsp of pepper and salt to taste. When adding feta cheese, you really don’t need to add salt because a lot of the tangy/salty flavor will come from feta cheese. I really love to marry the flavor with sesame to give it a bit of a smoky taste. And, well, who doesn’t love sesame oil.

This recipe will end up making ~6 patties. To quickly make an avocado paste, I put a whole avocado into the nutribullet, quickly turning it into a paste. All that is left is to grab a flatbread that you like. Before warming up the bread in a pan, I sprinkled a little sesame oil on the inside of the bread. This way, the inside gets a little crispy and has a nice flavor as well.
