Nestled in the mountains outside of Yazd, there is Pir-e Pars Banooo. One of the things that I love about this site is how perfect it is and how each of the salons (houses) looks so beautiful. Each piroon has its own day were Zoroastrians from all over come to pray. Coming here on an off time is an experience in itself. Though it feels like a bit of a ghost town, there is this sense of peace and comfort as you walk to the temple. Looking past each house, this secluded spot is surrounded by the mountains giving it a sense of protection. This site is truly incredible.
